Hello! I'm Pamela. And let me introduce my parents, Hank (93) & Maria (89). Charming kids still skipping through life and beating all the odds.

Itinerist was born out of the deep desire to be a better partner for my parents as they aged in place. I quickly realized the call to action was much more than the logistics of making dinner and driving them to appointments.
We had deep patterns of communication stemming back to my childhood. I knew that for me, the journey was all about evolving and elevating myself into the role so that I could meet them where they were. That good communication and solid mental health were the stepping stones to all of the challenging conversations about the logistics of what we're doing.
An optimist by nature, many times I felt the heavy burden of being here was so great I was at risk of losing my true nature. Many nights I turned to ChatGPT to get a dose of counseling... yes, counseling. I was gobsmacked at the advice I was receiving from a stinkin' computer and how it 100% helped me reframe my perspective.
The journey to being of service to my parents began with the journey of changing my perspective.
